The objective of the KDIC Youth Internship is to provide the youth with an opportunity to gain practical experience in their respective fields and develop their ability to successfully take up employment opportunities in the financial sector and other fields.

Suitably qualified and interested candidates from universities and colleges are hereby requested to apply for the opportunities tabled below.

Kindly note that successful candidates will be placed in the following Departments for a nonrenewable period of one (1) year/ twelve (12) months.

8. Deposit Insurance and Bank Surveillance

Basic Requirements

Applicants who will be invited for the vetting/interviews are expected to produce the following documents:

i. Proof of having graduated: Copies of Degree/Diploma Certificate or Academic
Transcripts;
ii. A copy of National Identification Card;
iii. Curriculum Vitae

Eligibility and duration of internship

Eligibility the persons eligible for this program shall meet the following requirements:

i. Be unemployed Kenyan graduates from recognized training institutions who have completed their degree courses within the last three years
ii. Have not been exposed to work experience related to their area of study;
iii. Be graduates of degree or diploma program;
iv. Not have retired or exited from formal employment;
v. Not have benefited from a similar program.
