About the Internship Program
The one-year, non-renewable internship will place successful applicants in various Assembly divisions where they will work under experienced supervisors. Interns will gain exposure to:

1. Committee Services Division – KES 23,000
- Support scheduling and coordination of committee meetings.
- Prepare minutes, reports, and records.
- Conduct research to aid committee recommendations.
2. Legislative & Procedural Services Division – KES 23,000
- Assist in drafting bills, motions, and amendments.
- Document plenary proceedings.
- Prepare order papers and reference briefs.
3. Legal Division – KES 23,000
- Support legislative drafting and legal research.
- Review contracts and provide legal opinions.
- Document legal proceedings.
4. Budget Division – KES 23,000
- Assist in preparing and analyzing county budgets.
- Review financial reports and expenditure trends.
- Support fiscal oversight functions.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be Kenyan citizens.
- Have graduated within the last three years (after September 2022).
- Have no prior internship experience in public service.
