On Thursday, the Central Placement Service of Kenya Universities and Colleges (KUCCPS) reopened the placement site to accept applications for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs.
The KUCCPS statement stated that the application was available to the cohort of KCSE students from 2000 to 2023 who were unable to enroll in a course during the prior applications.
The placement service stated that qualified applicants may submit an application to be placed in public TVET institutions’ diploma, artisan, and craft programs.
“Are you interested in starting in September at a TVET institution? Applications for placement in Artisan, Craft, and Diploma programs provided at public TVET colleges are now being received by KUCCPS, according to a statement from the placement service.
It was recommended that students who wanted to apply log in via the KUCCPS portal and submit their selections.

KUCCPS provides a three-week window for applicants to select their desired course at the time of announcement. The inter-institutional transfer would take place in parallel with the application.
How to Apply
All applications must be done online through the student’s portal accessible through the KUCCPS students.kuccps.net
Log in using your credentials ie KCSE index number, KCSE year and password.
(For your initial password, use your birth certificate number or KCSE index number)
Once you’ve logged in, select four courses that you would like to pursue and the government institution.
List them in order of priority, the first being the most preferable and the fourth being the least.
Once done click submit.
