JSC announces 109 openings for paid internships.
With 109 paid internship jobs in the judiciary offered by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), recent Kenyan graduates have a fantastic opportunity to obtain real-world experience.
This program, which is open to young Kenyans with degrees or diplomas between the ages of 18 and 35, attempts to give interns practical experience and on-the-job training in a variety of judicial functions.
The monthly pay for interns chosen for this 12-month, non-renewable period is Sh 20,000 for diploma holders and Sh 25,000 for degree holders.
“The internship program will offer opportunities for graduates to consolidate and translate the skills learned from their training into meaningful, relevant, and practical on-the-job experience,” the JSC states.
With chances in office administration, ICT, supply chain management, information science, and building services, the interns will be placed in a variety of court stations across the country, guaranteeing that they are exposed to fields that align with their abilities.
Applicants must fulfill a number of important requirements in order to be eligible. They must have graduated from 2022 onwards, be between the ages of 18 and 35, and hold a degree or diploma from an accredited university.
Since this program is designed for people who have never worked before, they should not have any substantial work experience in their subject of study.
Candidates must also fulfill the standards of Chapter Six of the Constitution and possess strong computer abilities.
Additionally, the JSC stated that candidates who have already worked as government interns are ineligible, and interns must be open to working at any court station in Kenya.
Applications for the internship program must be submitted by November 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM, and are only accepted via the JSC employment portal at [JSC jobs portal: https://jsc.go.ke/jobs-2/.
An application letter, a thorough resume, a national ID, verified copies of academic records, and a recent passport-sized photo must all be uploaded by interested candidates.
This internship program helps graduates close the knowledge gap between academia and real-world experience in Kenya’s judicial system, as part of JSC’s dedication to supporting young Kenyans’ professional development and skill enhancement.
