Background: HELB Reinstates KMTC Loans After Suspension
This is the first time HELB is funding KMTC students since 2023, when loans were suspended due to policy and system changes. Many students have since struggled to pay tuition and accommodation fees. The reinstatement is expected to offer significant relief.
“We know the last two years have been difficult. This move is a big step toward supporting Kenya’s healthcare training sector,” said Ringera.
