Applications Open for Teaching Assistant Program abroad (2025/2026 Intake)
The Language Assistant Program in France is now open for applications, giving Kenyan students a unique opportunity to teach English in France for seven months. Participants will work in public schools across mainland France and the French Overseas Departments, engaging with pupils and students of different ages.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, about 175 positions are available for Kenyan applicants.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Teaching Assistant Program in France, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Kenyan citizen
- Aged between 20 and 35 years at the start of the program
- Have completed the majority of studies in Kenya
- Must be enrolled in university, TVET, or college, with at least two years of completed studies at the time of application (students from all academic fields are encouraged to apply)
- Must demonstrate proficiency in French (minimum B1 level CEFR) – proof of French language skills is required
