The Translating Research into Action Center (TRAC) and the Research on International Policy Implementation Lab (RIPIL) at American University (AU) are seeking a passionate and skilled Postdoctoral Research Impact Fellow to join their team. This is a full-time, one-year position with the possibility of renewal for an additional year.

About the Opportunity
This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for a recent PhD graduate to contribute to a dynamic research center focused on maximizing the societal impact of scholarly research. You will work directly with Dr. Susanna Campbell, Provost Associate Professor and Director of RIPIL, on a variety of projects related to research translation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a research repository on translational research methods.
- Facilitate networking and collaboration among NSF grantees, universities, foundations, and research institutes.
- Conduct research on best practices and methodologies for research translation, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of resources to promote the effective use of research in policy and practice.
Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (political science, international relations, sociology, economics, public health, education policy, etc.) by the start date.
- Strong interest in research translation and its impact on policy and practice.
- Excellent project management, communication, and networking skills.
- Experience working across disciplines and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods.
- Enthusiasm for working in a team environment and contributing to impactful research initiatives.
